This kid...

I guess this is the part where I talk about myself.

I'm from Pittsburgh, the greatest and most interesting city in the world. Seriously, I'm surprised at it's quirks and hidden beauty each time I come home. I'm about to begin my junior year at West Virginia University, where I'm majoring in journalism. Visual journalism, actually. It's kind of awesome, and whatever you want to make of it.

I'm disgustingly passionate about journalism and using different forms of media (print, audio, video, etc.) to make it into an art form. Hopefully one day I'll have a career doing those types of things for a company. Maybe traveling for them, too.

I'm also pretty into music. Other than being a musician myself, I DJ, am on the news staff, and am the librarian at WWVU-FM. It's also known as U92, WVU's campus radio station. We play alternative/college radio music. Give it a listen! I really love what I do there.

I also work at a cafe. It fuels my caffeine addiction and I get to work with my best friends/roommates. Yes, my life is a sit-com.

This summer, I'll be interning in London, UK at Verge Magazine, the only free magazine in the UK that caters to both college-aged guys and girls. I'm unbelievably excited.

I geek out over things like Colonial Williamsburg, the Titanic, WQED-Pittsburgh, The Beatles, and Hey Arnold! I also think that cookies, family and friends, and laughter are essential parts of life.

Oh, and lo mein.
